Favorite Things from February

BOOK: Blue Nights, Joan Didion.  A sad story, but written so beautifully that it doesn’t come across as devastating. Now in my top five favorite books. (I started reading Didion’s Slouching Towards Bethlehem last week.)

MOVIE: Call Me By Your Name. Set in Italy in the 80s, this love story will make you yearn for pastel shirts, swimming holes, summertime and this villa. (And the father's loving speech to his son at the end of the movie will make you cry your eyes out and rethink how you cope with the loss of a loved one.)

RECIPE: This Buddha Bowl. I’ve been making a lot of Buddha Bowls at home (because I can’t eat at Flower Child every single day). This one is one of my favorites.

COLLECTION: The Aura. Lately, I've loved discovering vintage books about astrology, past lives, and auras. Even if you don’t believe in any of that stuff, the covers are usually pretty dope and they make good coffee table books or gifts. Hoping to gather up enough to sell at upcoming pop-ups!

STYLE: 90s Mom: A lot of Princess Diana, a little Ralph Lauren, mostly my mom when I was little: High waisted tapered pants with belts, white shirts and coach bags.

WINE: Freaking out over this bottle of wine that’s under $20.

IG FOLLOW: Blueberry Modern. All the best retro interiors and art.
